Well, I spent the better part of the last twenty four hours getting my code back to even.
I had run into a problem with the validation/cookie setup. I fought with for many hours and then rewrote it using a database. I was using Randal's File::Cache cookie system from one of his columns.
Needless to say I'm drained and annoyed. I plan on taking tomorrow off, sort of. No rest for the wicked when you are working (in theory still) for a startup. I also need to remember to pester my nominal boss about some stuff he needs to get working (VPN so I can work from afar and maybe visit my girlfriend and get some work done while I'm at it).
Coding hardcore for the last 4 days or so has put some edge back into my coding. I was getting kind of rusty and not really at the top of my game the last many months. Of course being unemployed for 3 months or so will do that to your skills.
Hopefully tomorrow...errr today (need to get a normal sleep schedule) will be a better day.
