The part came in. The best part was that it was a new version of the board. That makes each board that has been replaced a different version than the one before. How crazy is that?
The techs popped about 5 fuses. They finally figured out that some jumpers on the board weren't configured properly. I really, really hate Liebert (the cooling unit manufacturer).
There are still a few things to iron out with the cooling unit but it is doing its job, keeping my server room frosty (got down to about 54F before I fired up both of my 25 node clusters).
Now the I need to figure out how to keep this from happening again, or at least minimizing downtime and such.
The really, really bad things is that classes start the 25th so I have about 5 days to do about 15 days worth work thanks to this and the RPC hole. Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy!
