Make that an absurd comedy

Well, a part got here today. Not the part I need for my server room cooling unit.

I finally cracked. This is just too damn serious. Other sysadmin affected by this and I calculated that we have about 116 hours of downtime since July 1, the start of our fiscal year. That gives us less than 90% uptime. WooHoo.

I now return to babysitting the servers in the hall.

window?

You might have already mentioned this, but if you have a window, go to Sears and buy a wall unit and stick it in.
Or, cut a hole in the wall to some unimportant room (accounting, whoever) and stick it in.

Got to keep the servers running ...

It's in the basement of the building. I would have to cut through at least 6 inches of concrete. If I had to design a server room I think I would put it either on the first floor or second floor. No matter what I would have an elevator nearby.

You don't actually need a window. In our server room we've got a portable a/c unit, they are like regular window units but you don't need a window. You can connect a long exhaust vent to it instead, something like this but with a higher btu.
