It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. HTTP::DAV worked right out of the box. I was afraid I would have to peer into the internals to get stuff working with https.
Of course now I have to work with the Zope guys to have things not rendered when I put and get them via Perl scripts. Shouldn't be too much trouble because I think they do it based on the user-agent.
Of course, the next stop in this train of events is to convince an old codger the value in using Zope. I'm not convinced myself but I can live with it if I have to, but I will some day have to learn Python. Why does their book have to be so huge? The third edition camel is large enough for me.
