travel from PHL to SAN was (thankfully) uneventful, and the usual stress of a travel day was lightened by a nice mexican dinner with my wife, Stas Bekman, Eric Cholet, James Smith, Tim Bunce, Ken Williams, and Matt and Heather Sergeant (and a few too many drinks for me).
it was nice to see everyone again, and it looks to be a great conference. of course, now it's Day 1 and I'm here tweaking my slides for tomorrow. (well, I'm writing this instead of tweaking my slides). someday I'll learn to just relax about these presentations.
