it probably shouldn't bother me (at least as much as it does) but I get really irked when my emails aren't acked. not ones where I initiate the conversation, mind you, but rather the ones where I spend my valuable time trying to help because it was asked of me. whether you post to a public list or email me personally with a question, if I take the time to answer with a decent level of thought and detail the least you can do is email me back with a simple "thanks" to let me know my response didn't end up in your spam folder.
