It seems that YAPC::NA is in Boca Raton, Florida this year (June 16-18). This is great news, only a 5 hour, $95 flight each way from Burlington, VT via jetBlue.
The chance of me being there is very good, though it's a bit scary as I haven't met any other perl people (there aren't many perl programmers here in VT).
I'm really excited about my other trip, off to Maui on Monday! A spare battery for my iBook came via the nice people at Smalldog so I'll have enough juice to get me through a large part of the 14 hours of flying.
