It's 9:30 pm and I'm working at home. Fantastic. I have a Gear Grip as I can just unplug my work PC and carry it home, which is handy. The Java to Perl work is going well, I wrote a quick script that used Ovid's HTML::TokeParser::Simple to do a hack job on the .jhtml pages to turn them into Template Toolkit templates by removing the crap (running them through HTML Tidy helped too). The templates were pretty scary with a lot of embedded code in them and a lot of them try to do too many things; show form, validate form, and show results in one template.
I converted the MSSQL database to MySQL using MSSQL-to-MySQL by Intelligent Converters. I guess I could have knocked up a quick script to do this but for $39 it's not worth the hassle. I had some problems as it dies if there are duplicated keys (which made no sense to me) but making it create a MySQL dump file and manually importing it worked great.
For Amanda: "Catch Me If You Can" was great. Well worth seeing, easily a 8/10.
I think a run to the drug store for Nyquil is required. My throat hurts, I have a temperature and feel pretty shitty. Just what I need on a Monday. Just need to finish the code to add and update users before bed...
