I started using XChatAqua (thanks nik & ct for the tip) a improvement over JediKnight2, especially if you'reused to XChat which I am. I also managed to install from source apache+mod_perl with help from David Wheeler's "My Adventures with Mac OS X". Thanks!

Does anyone know about how to sort my key bindings out for VI? It's a serious pain in the arse that iBooks don't have a backspace or insert key. I have yet to work out how to get in replace mode and when I hit fn-delete it doesn't do anything like I'd expect.

Things are progressing nicely project wise, I'm working on a Movabletype plugin and a project I like to call YAYC (Yet Another Yahoo Clone) so I can upload my myriad of bookmarks somewhere and not loose any. I also think it would be a useful resource if there was a place where all the perl articles, tutorials, presentations, videos, etc. could be found.

On an unrelated topic on of my clients had a bit of a problem and rang me at 9pm tonight. This isn't really a problem, I've given it out to a couple in case of emergencies. The unusual thing was that I never gave it to them, they managed to track me down from my whois records. Sometimes I forget how easy personal information is to trackdown. It's something to think about.
