Continuing my joys with the Vermont DMV, I finally paid another $50 to get my car registered. This is on top of the $43 I had previous paid. Somebody looked at my car yesterday and reminded me that the DMV hadn't posted my registration stickers. It seems they are too busy to process the extra $7 I had to send them (7 weeks ago). Due to the fact that my car was on the road illegally, I had to get it registered on the spot and then try to get a refund for the $43. This is proving hard because they do not have any record of me paying, but luckily I was able to find the cheque number and get a copy of the cheque (that they had cashed). This is all a general pain in the arse.
