ms corefonts

I've now manage to get Microsoft Corefonts installed on my linux box (thanks for the link ziggy). It really makes a massive improvement. It was a bit trickier to get things working in AbiWord (which I use to write my journal entries) but in the end symlinking the font files into /usr/share/AbiSuite/fonts/ and running ttfadmin.sh seemed to do the trick.

My 'new' palm m100 came in the mail yesterday, only $46 from Ebay. My big plan is to work out how to sync my to-do list with RT. I've really caught the Ebay bug, been bidding on CPUs and cd players all week. Much more fun than going to the shops :)

My wife has the bug too

My wife is currently selling her china and will soon be selling all the other stuff we don't have room for in our new apartment on Ebay. The proceeds will go to purchase a new entertainment center & sofa/loveseat. The bidding is up to $150 for one platter alone!

I'm also putting together a list of stuff to sell on Ebay & list on craigslist. Craigslist is a great local community site with free ads for just about everything you can imagine. They also have sites for NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, etc.
