Continuing from last entry...
I was looking at costing me about $80-100 a chip from ebay. A coworker suggested Powerleap who do a Slot-1 to Tualatin upgrade. For only $169.95 I can wack in a 1.4gig cpu. Sure it's only running at 100mhz but it's going to be faster and cheaper than dual 550s. The other bonus is that I'll have a free slot to put another one in later.
Now I'll have a beast of a server, just need something for it to do :)
