This weekend I got fed up of my half working home box and did some serious upgrades. I ripped it apart and put it in a bigger case, bought a new soundcard, 40 gig drive and 128 meg more memory. I decided to be brave and install linux, Red Hat 7.3 worked like a charm. The only thing I really miss is IE, Mozilla's fonts are a bit of a let down but I guess I can live with it.
All I have to do now is find out the least painful way to install another 40 gig drive I've borrowed from work, dump the 30 gig of data I have on two 20 gig disks, raid 0 them and copy the data back :)
