Lex Luther had the right idea (Superman II I believe), why bother washing clothes when you can buy new ones? I ran out of clean clothes so I decided to go to Kmart and buy new ones on sunday. Another week has gone on and now my new clean clothes are used up. T-shirt = $4.50, Boxers=$2 Socks=$1, total = $7.50/day. I'm tempted to buy more and put off the trip to the laundrette.
Perl wise, I'm glad I re-wrote our nasty cgi-script for a store product search. I just copied it, changed a few lines and I've got a (nearly) working search for a new client. Yay! Go me!
While searching for a house last fall, I saw a place where the family had done that -- and the dirty laundry was all over the floor -- in every room. A three bedroom house had enough dirty laundry for ten to fifteen people. The stuff was a foot deep in places.
House hunting is weird.
