I've just realised that I haven't been on holiday for a year now. I spent five days in Florida last May and since then I've only taken two days off. This doesn't count the four days holiday I took at Christmas when I was in bed with the flu, having used up my two sick days already that year.

The good news is that I have 20 days to take this year, I wonder if my boss will let me take off all of August.

I used to save up almost all my days until the end of the year. When I'd take any off during the year, it was always wrapped around a 3 day weekend. But, I'd usually end up with about all of December off, and a bunch of 4 day weeks in November after saving all the personal/vacation/sick days.
