I'm looking for one brave volunteer for an interview with the Dallas Morning News about the state of the Perl job market. It would be nice to see some good press about Perl hiring (rather than the usual Java/.NET is taking over the world). Please email me or reply to this.
Colin Jitlal and Brand Hilton (President and former VP of the D/FW Perl Mongers) were contacted for interviews. Colin was kind enough to forward a copy of the message to me as well as give the reporter my contact information. (I took over for Brand as VP.) I was contacted yesterday evening by the reporter and I responded this morning.
This could be really great for the Perl community and especially for those of us in the Dallas area.
