Netflix recommended Irréversible, a French film about the aftermath of a rape. Fimed in reverse chronologial order, it's hard to watch, with a disturbing and graphic storyline, and a documentary style of shooting with jerky camera action. It's not for the feint of heart, it starts with a brutal killing where you see the victim's face get beaten in with a fire extinguisher and then a very graphic rape scene. Monical Bellucci (Matrix Revolutions, Tears of the Sun) puts in a fantastic performance. It's a powerful film, just not for everyone.
