After my little accident the cop who showed up told me that I couldn't technically drive in VT as you can only drive on a out-of-country licence for a year. Today I went and passed my written test so I could book the driving test.
The bad news is that I have to wait until July 18th to take the test, that's 20 days of taxi's to work. Not only is it $8 each way but a royal pain in the arse.
I think it's probably safer not driving, on the way back from the DMV I had to avoid a lawn chair on the highway which flew from the back of a truck and then a few minutes later I had to slam on the breaks to miss a kid on a bike with a deathwish.
