Last night my car got hit by an oil tanker who was being friendly and wanted to share my lane. Luckily for me I was far over to the right turning as the road was wide, if I was parallel to the cab I probably wouldn't be here writing this.
The bad news is that unless the insurance companies decide he is at fault I get nothing. Lesson learned? You really don't want to be on the inside lane with a truck next to you while turning even if it doesn't look like they are turning in your direction.
