I am sure it's just me but I find the website of TPF difficult to use.
This time I was trying to locate the perl5 wiki.
There is no link on the main page. So I typed "wiki" in the search box.
The second hit was July 9th, 2007 - A new wiki for Perl 5 but clicking on that link gives me the same content as the Press Release Archive
Is there anyone in TPF who can fix this?
BTW in the end I used Google and found the perl5 wiki.
And while we are at it can we revamp perl.org too? I just found this gem on the about page under "Perl and the Web"
To start with CGI.pm is not something we should be bragging about. Sure it is a workhorse, but it's also a huge and horrible mess of a module. And seriously, what (dynamic) language doesn't come with a CGI type module in its core disto these days? We should be promoting more modern web technologies like Catalyst, Jifty and the like.Perl's CGI.pm module, part of Perl's standard distribution, makes handling HTML forms simple.
