From 1pm to 6pm, YAPC presentations happened this Saturday. Five talks: ETL with Perl, by mago and mk; Techniques to Stop SPAM with Perl, by mda; Search-by-similarity engines, by Nélio Nunes; Digital Libraries and Z3950, by Rondon; and Testing with Perl, by me. All of them, good stuff indeed. (I was not fair translating the title of the presentations. If you read Portuguese they are here (look at "Sala 8" column.)

This morning, it was the time of Flávio Glock talking about "Perl 6 in Perl 5" followed by a "Perl 6 Now" by Audrey. Flávio and Audrey have plenty of new stuff in their joint work. They and cmarcelo didn't stop programming for a moment. Flávio promised a lightning course on Perl 6 after noon.

Ok, I skipped the party yesterday night, but I will leave it for someone who actually went there. People went to a bar (and me too) but I returned to hotel before they left to the CONISLI's social event.
