YAPC South America 2006 happens in São Paulo, Brazil by November 3-5. It is a partner event of CONISLI (International Conference of Free Software) which is not Perl specific (as if Perl hackers were specific). Larry Wall, Audrey Tang, Flávio Glock, David Fetter, mago and others will be there to make it an interesting event.
