POD ERRORS

I wonder about this. Has the pod2html converter of search.cpan.org switched into strict mode or is that a peculiarity of this module, me wonders.

Pod::Simple

I think search.cpan.org has switched to using Pod::Simple to convert POD to html

I recently heard that, too. pod2html was just a placeholder for whichever tool they use.
Anyway, I hope none of my future uploads to the CPAN will show these POD ERROR symptoms. I'd find them slightly embarrassing. :-)

Yes, search.cpan.org did recently change to using Pod::Simple.

I had forgot about the POD ERRORS section when I made the change, but then thought why not leave it. If it makes people fix their POD out of embarrassment then that's good.

If you want to check you POD before upload, goto http://search.cpan.org/pod2html

If you want to check you POD before upload, goto http://search.cpan.org/pod2html

Yes, yes, yes, I do want to do that!

I didn't know that this service has been added to search.cpan.org. Very nice. I was for a long time looking for a way to ensure that my POD is compatible with its POD-processor; now I can.

Thanks for adding this!
