While digging through Lincoln Stein's Network Programming with Perl last night looking for something else, I happened across a previously ignored chapter. Chapter 8 covers POP (and IMAP), and gives the best description of disecting MIME-encoded email that I've seen. A just-in-time find for the next engagement in the continuing war on SPAM.
