At the risk of jinxing something good, I start this morning at AirWave Wireless, where I'll be working with a team that's been doing Extreme Programming with Perl for several years. (I checked, and they really are doing enough of the XP practices to safely qualify, unlike other companies I talked with, who kinda, sorta did Pair Programming, and, like, uh, didn't do documentation.) I learned about AirWave at the local Mongers meeting a year or so ago. They've done some incredible stuff to enable complex unit testing.
The 8:45 AM standup meeting is in 90 minutes, which leaves time for a quick shower, some breakfast, and a half-hour commute. My wife has graciously volunteered to make coffee.
Hope it works out to your expectations. I'm knocking on wood right now.
