Perhaps today wasn't the best choice for getting a jumpstart on online holiday shopping. Several sites I've trying to order from are melting down, including some suprises like Land's End, which is coughing back error messages like a bad cold.
It's kind of fun hypothesizing backward from a failure, guessing at how a site is constructed. Some sites make that entirely too easy, coughing back raw ODBC errors. Hardly sporting, that.
