If you're using a KVM, particularly one of the new buttonless ones, it's a good idea to keep a post-it on the side of your monitor with a list of the keyboard shortcuts. Because you will eventually accidentally type the magic combination that causes the KVM to cycle between monitors, and it really, really helps one's sanity to have the counter-spell within reach.

How hard is it to remember?
Especially since they're usually
pretty similar, and most have several.
For instance mine will accept
Scroll-scroll-up or Scroll-scroll-down

Mine proved quite hard to remember, since I'd never actually used that particular keystroke combination. After I *cough* power-cycled everything, I got the docs off of the vendor's website and went through all documented keyboard commands, just to have done them once.

The problem is even less about you remembering, and more about others remembering. I came in one weekend to kick over a down server, and I had no idea what the keystroke was to switch screens. Next day I asked the admin to post them somewhere near the keyboard....
