Finally, I managed to get to my first London.pm tech meet which was held yesterday. And I'm sorry to say that I was kinda dissapointed. It didn't seem tech enough somehow. I was expecting that at least some speakers would get down and dirty, and none of the talks seemed to have much depth to them.
Of course, the solution is not to whinge, but to damned well do something about it. So soon, I'll be presenting my Perl Gotchas talk (as delivered at the LBW2000). Dunno if I'll do it at next month's tech meet, cos that's really meant to be for YAPC::Europe and TPC speakers to use for practice, but maybe the one after that.
