There's a story in The Register about a bunch of contractors whining because they can't find work. If they're that desperate for work, why don't they go full-time? There's plenty of full time work around. Of course, if they take proper jobs (whether it be in IT or driving busses) they won't be able to continue their tax fiddling, but they will get all the things they moan about in contracting - like holidays and sick pay. I'm sure you'll all forgive me for being singularly unsympathetic.
