Unfortunatly (for my Perl $self), I cannot attend the German Perl Workshop 2008, even though I initially planned to do so (I even had one or two talk ideas ready). The reason is that the week GPW is happening is a week of holidays in Austria (well, at least for school kids), and traditionally we go skiing/snowboarding this week.
So, my family self looks forward for a week of snow fun with my kids and a few friends (and their kids).
P.S.: If GPW would take place on their 'normal' date (i.e. the three days after ash wednesday), I would have been able to attend...
