School
On Friday I attend the 'job day' at Joshs school. From 8:00 to 12:00 my job was to introduce 8/9 year old kids who don't speak english to programming. It was fun! Thanks to a lot of helpful advise on perlmonks I prepared a nice show involving Nutella, toast bread and me playing stupid.
Party
Also on Friday I went to Krems (1 hour by train...) for a Saul Williams (et.al.) concert. It was great! here are some images (of special geeky interest are the ones called pong\n.jpg featuring an ancient pong video game). After a long night of dancing I arrived back in Vienna at 6:30 in the morning (with one hour of sleep on the train). Don't remember much of Saturday...
CPANTS
On Sunday I fixed some CPANTS bugs and generated new data. I didn't fix all, though, as Barbie already reported some missing dists.
Work
We finished the new version of our website, which I will present tomorrow to all employees and put online after that. Interestingly our application framework seems quite similar to Catalyst - I should take a look at it...
Austrian Perl Workshop
