This Saturday, Leo, Armin and I drove to Budapest to join Gabor and the Hungarian/Budapest Perl Mongers at the Second Hungarian Perl Workshop.
After doing an involuntary tour through Budapest (passing an amusent park, a zoo and a parking lot where something like the Budapest version of the Love Parade was prepared) we arrived just in time at the venue. Leo did a parrot talk (including some parrot obfuscations). Some hungarian talks followed, of which I only understood small parts (like 'Perl', 'Java', 'Modulok' (plural of module, as I later learned)). But it was fun, anyway.
Than I did my CPANTS-Talk, which went quite well (IMO).
Afterwards, we went to a restaurant to eat/drink/talk, which was very nice & interesting, too.
Looking forward for the next one!
