I read on slashdot tonight that Darwin has been released for the x86, and Solaris 9 soon will be. Should I see if I can get up to 5 platforms on one machine?
The drawback to the Solaris option is that it would cost me $75. No thanks. I guess they're not really aiming at the home market, but it should help them to sell some less expensive hardware (as well as use video cards that don't bleed from a couple web browsers running). I'm not even really sure what future the Sparc architecture has.
