The suggested workarounds for SQLite on BeOS failed. I tried a few things, including a newer version of gcc for BeOS.
On an amusing note, I tried to build gcc 3.1 on BeOS just to see what would happen. I ended up with some rather bizarre ld errors that I've never seen before. I guess if it were easy, someone would have done it already. :)
