Last night I got together with a few other people for the first time in a long time to do some good old fashioned wargaming. Star Fleet Battles followed by two games of Titan (the second of which is still in progress).
While we were sitting there we started talking a bit about how computer gaming, even online gaming, is essentially an anti-social activity. My friend even thinks that wargaming is making a comeback of sorts because some people are starting to realize that its more fun to get together and hang with your friends in person than to play them online. And you know what? He's right. I had more fun in a few hours of Titan than in all the time I've played World War 2 Online.
The Pizza my friend's wife made helped, too. :)
