A song can be about anything you want. :)
Yeah, it's generally interpreted to be about drugs, but the, "Oh my God, you're the best" line always sounded like some sort of post-coital remark to me.* The song "When the Rush Comes" could also be about drugs, but I always interpreted "rush" as "orgasm". Hey, sex IS a drug after all, right? ;)
* Some lyric sheets claim she's saying, "Oh my God, this is the best", but it sure doesn't sound like it to me.
