Well, it looks like BeOS Max has been dropped by SourceForge based on an anonymous post claiming that it violated Palm's intellectual property rights. For those who don't know, Palm purchased what was left of Be, Inc when it folded.
Seems rather shitty to me. I would think that they would wait until Palm complained, rather than basing the decision on an anonymous post. I doubt Palm would complain in any case, since it doesn't violate the Personal Edition license agreement. That, and no one gives a crap about BeOS any more anyway.
Although Vassily disagrees, I wouldn't rule out the Zeta folks as culprits. There is simply no one else who has anything to gain from this, but then I'm a conspiracy nut, so what do I know?
Anyway, I hope I can manage to get a copy before it goes away completely.
