In case anyone here cares, RubyConf 2004 will be in Chantilly, VA this year, Oct. 1-3. A bargain at $200 (and only $125 if you don't want meals). Chantilly is just west of Washington DC, btw. Map here.
Of possible interest to some of you outside of Ruby is the fact that Brad Cox, the man who invented Objective-C, will be giving the keynote. He has also used Ruby. :)
