I tried the latest and greatest Eclipse milestone release yesterday, and quickly reverted back to 3.0M8. It seems they no longer use org.apache.xerces, and that has borked more than a few plugins.
I guess this has been coming down the pipe for a while and plugin developers are supposed to use JAXP. At least, that's what the guy on #eclipse said.
