Just because you recently wrote an interface to win32 services doesn't mean that you understand exactly what each service does.
It especially doesn't mean that you should go into the services control panel and disable the RPC services because you thought it might be a security risk.
Man, my machine is messed up, and I can't re-enable the damn service. I'm literally going to have to write a program in C at work and run it at home to fix the damn thing.
