After renting About Schmidt (boring crap) and Adaptation (extremely clever boring crap), I was in a movie-slump. Today, however, I watched Spirited Away.
All I have to say is, "Wow!". What an awesome movie. I loved every darn minute of this movie. I felt like a kid watching someone else's dream. It was, by far, the best animated film I've ever seen.
/me suspects he is going to give this movie out as a Christmas present this year.
if you haven't seen them, most of miyazaki's films are equally 'Wow'.
Princess Mononoke has some truly amazing scenes. and should you happen to have an 8 year old girl around Kiki's Delivery Service will leave them wanting to be a witch.
