The last time we had a power outage, I decided to add the "logging" option to the appropriate filesystems under /etc/mnttab on my Solaris box. In theory (or so I thought), this should avoid the need for manually fsck'ing all the filesystems the next time there was a power outage.
Well, it seems we had yet another unplanned power outage last night. AFAICT, logging did absolutely nothing and I had to manually fsck all the filesystems anyway.
Give me BeOS!
