A while back I mentioned that I was trying to get the cpu temperature programatically on my system ala prtdiag -v. I sent a post to comp.unix.solaris, but didn't get any (helpful) replies.
Oddly, I have received two offline emails wondering if I've managed to come up with a solution since then (I haven't).
I say "oddly", because I almost never get offline mail regarding a usenet post. The fact that I've received two about it in the last week tells me that there must be a fair number of people interested in doing the same thing, only no one knows how.
I think it's time to contact the source - Sun.
