Last night was the monthly london.pm social meeting - so I'm typing this fairly quietly.
We tried a new pub called the Three Cups. They gave us a private room upstairs and everyone generally agreed that it was a great place. We'll definitely go back next month.
One of the nice things about the pub was that it served Youngs Double Chocolate Stout, which is fast becoming one of my favourite beers. If the idea of chocolate flavoured beer disgusts you I can only suggest that you try it.
And then I got home to find that Manning had sent me my first royalty cheque for Data Munging with Perl.
Which was nice.
