It's not every day that you find you're co-ordinating an organisation that contains Nazi cells.
I know that I have political disagreements with some of the people round these parts, but I hope that no-one objects to me jsut removing them completely from the web site.

If Perl Mongers is to allow groups based not on geography but similar interests apart from Perl (like MarsNeedsWomen.pm), then I think this is wrong. Requiring a name change is fine, but otherwise, no, I think it is wrong. What happens when people complaing about a Muslim group, or a Christian one? It wouldn't be a pretty picture.
However, if Perl Mongers is going to be almost exclusively geographic, at least make it clear that geographical and technical interests should be the only factors involved in defining a particular group. Or something.
Does such a statement exist? If so, I've not seen one. It should exist, I believe.
