OK, I'm telling you the secret. Since you were born, you get one year older every year (NOTE:. This isn't valid if you've been travelling at very high speeds, please see Einstein's work for an explanation on that cases). Then, it happened the same way it did last year, on the same day. It kind of sneaks up on you, doesn't it? One day you're 16, then before you know it, 16 year-olds consider you "old".

Is that better or worse than looking at a 16 year old and realizing that you were his age when he was born? (Not that I'm quite that old, but today's my birthday too!)
