The name of my MakeAShorterLink module was clearly wrong, so I've renamed it to WWW::MakeAShorterLink. At hitherto's suggestion I've also added a makealongerlink function that converts the other way.
Version 1.03 will be available at your favourite CPAN mirror real soon now.
