So I'm on holiday. We're in Edinburgh for the annual festival. It's all very hectic (and expensive). We're seeing three or four shows a day.
Did my first bit of successful blagging last night. One of the venues (the Assembly Rooms) has a private bar where all the performers and hangers-on go after their shows. You need a pass to get in. The advantage it has is that it stays open longer than pubs. I just wandered into the press office and told them I was covering the festival for www.standup.co.uk and they gave me a pass. Which was nice.
A good game to play in the bar is "who's the most famous person here". A pretty low scoring round last night. The winner was probably Sylverster McCoy :)
