I knew I'd forget something.
The Vendor Exhibit Hall opened yesterday in the morning break. As I was walking past the San Diego Technical Books stand, I noticed that they had me down for a book signing at 1pm - which came as a little bit of a surprise. I guess there had been a little bit of a communication breakdown.
so I went there at 1pm and sat on the stall for an hour. A number of people stopped by and talked to me. Quite a lot of them already had my book and were kind enough to say that they found it useful and/or enjoyable. It has far more successful than last year's signing when I was scheduled up against free beer in the catering tent and only two people showed up.
