I bought a copy of the Perl Debugger Pocket Reference. I was flicking through it whilst sitting on the tube on the way home when I had a bit of a surprise.
On pages 114/5, Richard has a list of Perl modules that are useful for "debugging, troubleshooting, and general program development." In that list, amongst worthy modules like Devel::Cover, B::Deparse and Benchmark, for some reason he includes Symbol::Approx::Sub.
